Testing Resources

There are a few tests that are taken during your time in high school. Each button will bring you to another webpage/pdf further introducing you to vital information about a specific test.

Advanced Placement or AP classes are classes taught up high school teachers at FAHS, but are taught in the style of a college level course.  Students have the potential to earn high school credit as well as college credit (saves money!) by taking these classes in high school.

Most colleges accept either the SAT or the ACT for college admissions purposes.  The SAT is more common in the eastern and western states.

All Juniors take the ACT in late February or early March as part of the Wisconsin State Standardized Testing.  This session of the ACT is FREE and includes the Writing Test that some colleges require.  Juniors have access to FREE ACT prep through their Plato account.  (Account Login is "fahs."  Username and password are students' school usernames and passwords.)

On the ACT website, students can view and send ACT scores and register for additional ACT testing sessions.
